Latest Update - 26th June 2011

Children's Learning Journey

At the end of each term parents are given records of their child's achievements including details of a formal observation, some comments about their child and proposed next steps to be worked towards during the next term by their Key Person.  We ask parents to add some comments in the space provided and return them to the child’s Key Person.  This idea has been welcomed by parents.

Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day will be held on Wednesday 13th July at 10am. All children are welcome, whether it is their usual Pre-school day or not. Races will start at around 10am but please bring the children into pre-school by 9.15. All parents/carers and other family members are welcome to join us to cheer on the children. The event will be followed by a picnic lunch (weather permitting) for spectators and children.

Half Term's Topics

This term we will be looking at OUR WORLD for the whole of the Autumn Term. This topic will include:

  • Looking at the children’s holiday memories, to talk about things that happened in the past and comparing them to the present
  • Learning about different cultures and festivals, starting with Eid-al-Fitr, the Muslim festival following Ramadan
