Liane Johnston – Manager & SENCO
Liane joined us in June 2025. She has Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce. Liane is a Level 3 qualified SENCO and has many years of supporting children with special needs and disabilities. Liane is designated safeguarding lead and is first aid trained.

Nikki Mercer – Deputy Manager
Nikki joined Woodham Mortimer Pre-school in April 2012. She has a CACHE Level 3 in Child Care and Education. Nikki is deputy designated safeguarding lead and is First Aid trained.

Julia Moore – Preschool Practitioner
Julia was at first a relief member of staff from 2006 and joined us as a permanent member in January 2008. Julia has studied and completed both a CACHE level 2 Certificate in Pre-school Practice and CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Pre-school Practice. Julia is First Aid trained.

Alison Herridge – Preschool Practitioner
Alison joined us in September 2010 as our relief member of staff and became a permanent member of staff in 2011. She has a CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare. Alison our fire marshall and is First Aid Trained.

Caroline Tozer – Preschool Practitioner
Caroline joined us in November 2008 and has completed a CACHE Certificate in Pre-school Practice, resulting in a Level 2 qualification. Caroline is the Pre-school’s Two Year Old Co-ordinator, Deputy Health & Safety Officer. and is first aid trained. She is also our ENCO.

Chloe Gentry – Preschool Practitioner
Chloe joined us in 2014 as a student and then continued with us as an apprentice and became a permanent member of staff in 2016, when she achieved her CACHE Level 2 qualification in childcare. Chloe is qualified first aider.

Sarah Varney – Preschool Practitioner
Sarah joined us in 2016 as a bank relief member of staff and became a part time member of staff in 2017. Sarah completed her CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare in May 2019 and is a qualified first aider.

Emma joined us during the Spring term 2020.
She has a CACHE Level 2 Childcare qualification 2020.
