I am delighted to say that we raised £660! Thanks to all those who donated cakes and jumble and those who came to sort, sell and tidy up. We still have a few items to sell which we felt would reach a higher amount on ebay etc so our final total will be higher.
As fees and funding only cover staff costs and rent, we need to fundraise for all other purchases for the preschool, even down to paints and paper. We have recently purchased some foam matting for the children to use to cross safely to the outdoor play area from the building – a lot safer surface than the gravel! We are also looking at purchasing a gazebo to provide shade for the outside area as the weather improves. None of this would be possible without your support, so thank you again.
